In this essay i will talk about an campaign called “When Do Kids Become Adults?, which has many different opinions about it from different people. To have a successful campaign you need to present an argument that supports claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence, and other ways. I will create multimedia campaign to present my response to that age-old questions. With this campaign there were two poems that shows us things about maturity and things. The poems called “Hanging Fire” and the other one called “Teenagers” written by Audre Lorde and Pat Mora. Because in the poem it says she should have been on the Math Team besides someone else and different things happen to her at home that she doesn’t like. In the poem hanging fire it states “There is nothing i want to do and too much that has to be done and momma’s in the bedroom with the door closed.” Another thing it states is that “ Nobody even stops to think about my side of it.” In these two main points in the poem it’s talking about how most teens go through to some things and make mistakes to learn from them and become a better person. One thing in this poem is that the girl is going through things as a teen which all teens should go through something. And the things she’s going though is helping her learn her mistakes as a beginning teen. Also, how she could learn from it as she become more solder as a teen into an adult one
