Events Leading To Amir finding Out about his Brother There were very Many events that lead up to this monumental piece of information that made you rethink everything you had read prior in the book. All of these small pieces of foreshadowing left you feeling tense, surprised, or maybe even confused. The first event was small, but no less important, on (14 Hosseini) Baba was out with the two boys on the lake and they were skipping stones, Amir was struggling and Hassan was excelling. Rather than fathering Amir and teaching him how it’s done Baba makes the scene extremely tense by Celebrating Hassan’s success. This scene coupled with how on the same page once Hassan had left Amir became invisible to Baba on their picnic. This part may seem insignificant to some of us but to a small child this is how they measure their parent’s love for them. On (52) “he would buy the kite for me, and he would buy it for Hassan too.
