The feeling of acceptance should be felt by anybody in any form or way. Without acceptance the feeling of not being accepted or loneliness can take over someone’s life. Acceptance is often used in a form of writing, film, or in everyday life to show how acceptance can affect the way that somebody might be living today. The way acceptance is shown or brought into movies or films is by maybe using the theme, making acceptance the moral of the film or movie. In one story acceptance is shown by bringing up an event to allow the acceptance of citizens right of protest. In a film, a boy is being bullied and his life is very harsh and it changes drastically. Johnson Majority Opinion,” written by William J. Brannan. A court case is brought about due to the burning of an American flag while on protest. The government was looking at two sides in this court case. Texas and Johnson, had two different opinions on how this event should be handled. Texas’ idea on the burning of the flag is that it should not be accepted nor shall the people's ideas be accepted. Johnson's idea on the burning of the flag is that it is a great deal of protest showing the importance of the idea that the citizens are trying to express. Both of these ideas brought about from each side were looked at by the government and the results favored the acceptance of people's ideas.
