Upon the inception of telecommunications there has always been an attempt to break boundaries and set higher standards. Going from morse code, the voice communication then finally mobile phones, the evolution of the ease of worldwide communication is indisputable. Of course with the upgrade of hardware, there must be an upgrade in software. Smartphones are undoublty one of the most influential, and important inventions of the modern world, they have influenced the way the world functions so much that we, as a species, would probably collapse without them. When you call someone it could be time consuming, or hard to understand whoever is on the other line. You might also become distracted and start talking about plans for the weekend or work or pretty much anything, except for what you actually called to talk about. Texting can solve almost every single one of those problems. Sending a text works well because even if the other party is not immediately available the text will still be delivered, and they will be able to look at when it is easiest for them. There also is not much jargon associated with texting so you never have to get stuck actively talking on the phone for thirty minutes.
