Genesis, this weeks reading, is a very complex, yet intriguing, book of the Bible. In order to fully get a grasp on how important Genesis is to the foundation of the Christian religion, one must spend long days studying every little context clue that exists in Genesis. I grew up in church all my life, with a Dad who would do Bible study with me and my siblings every night before we went to bed, yet I have come to the realization that over the years of studying I have missed subtle points in the Bible by focusing on the broad meaning. The passage on Noah shows individuals today that it is not popular to be a true Bible believing Christian, but if you are willing to give up everything to praise and follow God’s word, then God will provide for you. My favorite New Testament verse that I think of Noah when I read is Romans 8:28. God tells us we must follow his commandments if we are to be his child, but if we do that then God will always provide for us. For me Noah’s example has changed little aspects of my life. I have learned that to be truly successful in life you have to put God and your church first in your
