When Thanksgiving Day rolls around, I am always reminded of the Scripture verse noted above and there is a very good reason for the verse to come to my mind. You see, on my husbands and my 25th Wedding Anniversary on July 12, 2000, our house caught fire and we lost so many mementos and memorabilia.

There were many things that simply melted away and other things that were ruined by the extensive and voluminous water damage, as local firemen fought to extinguish the fire. When the time came that we could go into our home, the sights were unbelievable and certainly didn 't look like "our home!"

As I walked into the kitchen area, I thought to myself "there 's not much to save from this area..." just then my eyes went to the refrigerator.
