Do you think the American dream is still alive? I believe the American dream is still alive. The American dream is more than just living in the United States. It's about getting into America and getting better opportunities.In 2023, the American Dream is alive because of being free,making money, and living a good life. Reason number one is freedom. Freedom is very important to the American dream.Tom Cole said this, “free people, free speech and free markets – all of which continue to undergird the ‘American dream’.”-Freedom is the American dream. Living the dream means to have rights, equality, and liberty.In the story A Raisin in the Sun Mama said in act III, “I come from five generations of people who was slaves and sharecroppers.” Mama is talking to her son Walter and how she wants to change the ways and not be a slave.Walter is trying to help her understand that even though there aren't anymore slaves the white man will get what he wants at the end of the day.
