The GoPro army What I’m going to be writing about in this paper is about GoPro and how it has spread so rapidly. The overall idea of GoPro… The overall idea of GoPro is that they made a durable and also versatile camera that people could use primarily for actions sports such as, skiing, surfing, snowboarding, etc. The purpose of this is so people can get a look/feel of what it’s like. In the rest of this paper I’ll be talking about how GoPro really started to “explode” and also the tactics they used to do so. What this GoPro article is about is how Nick Woodman (The CEO of GoPro) started this booming company and also how he did it. Nick Woodman was a man who did many extreme sports like: surfing, racing, etc. What lead Nick Woodman to wanting to create this idea of a mini camera that won’t break and also can be mounted on things is so he and other sport extremists could show other people what he and other people do in these …show more content…

Nick’s girlfriend (Jill) went out and bought belts that were only about two dollars. Jill noticed that she could do some stuff with these belts and make them better and sell them for a lot more in America. Nick went out and bought 600 belts and they ended up moving back to the states and sold each of the belts for around sixty dollars each. That was the primary source of funding to start off his GoPro company. Nick ended up using that money to fund his invention of the GoPro. Nick went around to different expos and sold a few at a time to different people and companies. It started to get bigger and bigger and it all of a sudden took off. Everybody started buying GoPro’s and posting videos on things like youtube of them using them and more and more people wanted them. There was more employees at the headquarters now and it just took off. Nick Woodman went from living with his parents to being a
