On the morning of March 14, 1765, the first blow towards the British Government was thrown. In detail, according to a letter by Governor Bernard, in a central park of Boston an effigy, doll representation, of the stamp distributor, Mr. Oliver, was found hung from a tree. This initial blow to the law keepers of Boston came as a surprise, as they did not know how to react to the situation. The governor goes on to state that even within his council this initial blow was received with mixed emotions. To explain, some of the council members saw this backlash from the community simply as a "boyish sport that did not deserve the attention of the governor"(Governor Bernard, P 10).

The State of Franklin was named in honor of Benjamin Franklin, who the Settlers wanted to secure support from. Settlers and wealthy land speculators flooded the area. The region is now known as East Tennessee. The State acted independently and made it’s own schools and courthouses.

This myth of Revere riding through the countryside began with a poem by Henry Longfellow called “Paul Revere's Ride”. By comparison most of the information in the poem is incorrect, it was used to inspire many at the start of the Civil War.
The Famous Ride of Paul Revere Paul Revere is known for his famous ride through Charlestown, Virginia on April eighteenth, 1775 at midnight. There are many stories that have been published about this famous ride, but many are inaccurate. “Paul Revere’s Ride,” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is not a credible source of information because Revere does not do the same things within these two pieces of literature, the British’s actions are not the same in the poem and the letter, and Revere is not alone on this famous night. Longfellow does not match his poem up with the true actions of Paul Revere.
It was an early Wednesday morning on June 15, Ethan was walking to school. Step after step Ethan would look down at his watch and see what time it was, school started at 7:40 and it took him about 10 minutes to get there. The Patriot is a movie filmed displaying the time of the American Revolution, it is a very historically inaccurate film that features few historical accuracies. The Patriot offers inaccurate character portrayal, cultural details and social details. The few dainty accuracies of the film include apparel, battle occurence, and gun usage. As the movie progresses many parts throughout the film do not align with proper historical accuracy. The inaccuracies may seem true to the common eye but with proper intel it is clearly seen to be erroneous.
