Anna is startle awake when the debris of the roof lands on her pod 's lid. She tries to lift her pod 's lid open. It doesn 't budge. The debris too heavy for her to lift. Anna panics, but spots a red lever sticking out beneath her feet. A sign on it states: "Emergency hatch Release." She pulls it. There 's a noise. Anna 's pod 's lid shoots open, removing some of the debris that once blocked its path out of the way. She pushes at the pod 's lid. It opens just ajar. Anna squeezes through the narrow opening, her baby bump struggling to get through. Now outside her pod, Anna spots the Bearded Researcher buried up to his torso in rubble. Blood pours out his mouth and nose as he struggles to breath. She rushes over to him. Tries to remove the debris off him. But it 's too heavy for her. Suddenly the sound of heavy thumping footsteps rush down the corridor. Anna whirls around to face the noise just in time to see a group of Researchers head down the corridor. She calls for them to help. They don 't listen to her. The Bearded Researcher tells her to leave him. That the future is in her hands now, and that she must follow the suns arc which will lead her to Tribia: An alleged safe haven. But before Anna can ask any questions. Three gunshots ring out. Back at the facility, a convoy made up of horses and a worn out pick-up truck circles a large gaping hole in the mountain, where the entrance to the facility once was. Hadrian and his army of Armed Men escort the Woman Subjects, as well as the Researchers out of the facility. The Woman Subjects are loaded up into the pick-up truck, while the Researchers are set aside. Guarded by some of the Armed Men. Once all the Woman Subjects are loaded and ready for transportation, Hadrian learns from one of his men that there is girl missing from the rest. Determined not to let one go, stating that she couldn 't have gotten far, he sends three of his men: Nick, Lex and Steven out
