Over time, culture and beliefs have changed so much that not only the important and the wealthy people get to wear the dresses and gowns anymore. In fact, making clothes has become a major job opportunity for people as the world evolved. As years passed, the population of the world started growing. At the same time, man and women started changing jobs. As this happened, sewing started to change from being work, to being a hobby for many people. After some time, sewing machines started being used for enjoyment. A very little amount of people these days wear the clothes that they produce at home. Most of the time, sewing is more of a hobby." (Cathers 1) In addition, this changed, and caused a very big impact on industries. Do to all of this, less people wanted to accept the job of a factory worker. When the machines started to evolve more and more each time, there was no need for people in the factories. The only thing that workers would do, would be watch the machines to see if they are working properly. To conclude, it is today obvious that the world is changing, and as years pass, machines will make our lives easier, however, more complicated at the same time. After examining the positive and negative impacts of the sewing machine it is possible to notice that if it didn't exist, modern society would be very different. When observing it is interesting to see how one thing affects another. If the sewing machine didn't exist, people would never have the idea of making factories. Also, if factories didn't exist, there would be less pollution in the world, and so on. It is very important to notice these minor details, as they make everyone more aware of how everything could be different today just because of one invention
