In the story Doubt written by John Patrick Shanley, Father Flynn is accused of seducing a student by Sister Aloysius. I believe that Father Flynn is innocent of the accused acquisitions. Father Flynn continually sticks to his story. He claims that he only tired to help Donald as he was troubled and needed a friend to talk with.

Characters (provide descriptions – physical and behavioral) Tom Sawyer- An adventurous, charismatic, young teen. He is constantly seeking thrill and excitement and does whatever he can to achieve it. He lives with his aunt as both of his parents are dead and finds many ways to get in trouble.
The theme of this book is growing up and the loss of innocence, and how children mature and learn right from wrong as they get older. 7. Tom Sawyer: “He had discovered a great law of human action, without knowing it- namely, that in order to make a man or boy covet a thing, it is only necessary to make the thing difficult to obtain.” (p.23) This quote shows how Tom is able to outsmart the other boys into doing his work for him, and is an example of how much of a troublemaker he can be by doing things like this.
Unadmirable characters in Literature are used to shine characters in a brighter light and by comparing them to another character allows a greater appreciation of that character. Mark Twain uses unadmirable characters in a similar way. The main difference is that the characters show traits that Huck wishes to purge from his life. In the adventures of Huckleberry Finn Huck encounters many people who he clashes with due to his personality. Three prominent examples of those who aren’t admirable are Pap, the Duke and the Dauphin, and Colonel Sherburn and Boggs.
Tom grows from a spoiled kid to a dishonest and lazy adult. Tom's greedy education is the reason why he is flawed. From a young age he got everything that he wanted and a sense of power is born within him. When he becomes an adult the idea of working or making an honest living seems below him. Instead, he feels he has the right to just to take whatever he wants.
Man is undoubtedly kind hearted because they will always help others who are down and in worse condition than themselves. Man is instinctively selfless as well. They will put their protection and safety in jeopardy to ensure the well being of another individual. The nature of man is kind hearted and selfless. Others will argue that humans are actually selfish, and only do good for personal gain.

Change does not occur immediately, it happens through time. In Mark twain’s novel, Huckleberry Finn, the reader journeys along, unfolding the truth about this time period and the reality of slavery. Therefore, the author uses the main character Huck, to demonstrate the ability to change. He use Huck’s experiences and adventures throughout the story, to develop Huck’s character over time not only by the challenges he faces, but the decisions he makes during them.
Tomś conversations with others reveals that he is caring. In the middle of the story, Huckleberry wanted to use a sharp pin to pierce his skin to write his initials, but Tom immediately stopped him and said, ¨Don't do that. It might have verdigrease on there¨, which is poison. In other words, he prevented his friend from dying using his knowledge. This conveys that even though Tom is guile sometimes, he is very helpful during important moments.
When Tom is in search for the robbers cave he decides to “start [a] band of robbers and call it Tom Sawyer ’s Gang” (Twain 19). Being so young, it is understandable for Tom to aspire to such literature. Such Books offer guidance to young boys such as tom, although they might not be the best influence.
As Douglass also discussed, “Don’t you reckon that the people that made the books knows what’s the correct thing to do?” (Twain 7). Tom is easily drawn into the idea that people have their best interest in mind, which may not always happen. He believes what he is told because he feels that others have their best interest in mind, which is not always the case. He is quick to trust and he never questions anything he is told.
As a fiction writer, Mark Twain, whose original name is Samuel Langhorne Clemens, stands apart as a comic genius. In America, Mark Twain had popularized this new genre through two of his well- known novels. One is 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer ' and the other 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn '. Mark Twain 's idea of a boy character is based on the picture of an average American boy. The American boy, by nature, is enterprising and mischievous, not a reserved character like his counterpart in England.
