The two books that we were assigned to read, The Book Thief, and the Enders Game, were both completely different books. With different settings , different plot, they still kinda intertwine with similarities. As you begin to read both books they seem to be very different. As you continue it’s seems to become a little alike some aspects. Some parts may be simpler to me in my life. Other parts may be simpler in the real world. Lastly I’ll write about wha similarities and differences are in each book.

Starting off with our first book, The Enders Game. This was a very futuristic novel, with five different places which could be called the setting. Growing up I was always into futuristic technology, and just being ahead of time in the present. This book really interested me because it was so far in the future. I’ve always been the person to do Something ahead if time, before it’s to late. “I have to win this now, and for all time, or I’ll fight it every day and it will get worse and worse.” (Orson Scott Card, page 7) This quote really stood out to me because, the meaning is representing the …show more content…

The it’s similar how the Jews being persecuted by Hitler and his army to the real world in a few examples. Christian’s and other world wide religions are being persecuted about there there religion. It is similar to what Jews were persecuted for. “In sloppy lettering, the word Jewish filth were spilling over the edges.”(Markus Zusak, pg. ) This can be shown as Jews getting mistreated. In the Enders Game, Enders has a a hard life. He has to be very responsible. It was like being drafted into war in modern time. You are assigned to get into war if they need more men. Just like ended was, like I’ve already quoted, he will win now, so he doesn’t’ have to face anything for the rest of his life.
