Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare takes place in the peaceful city of Verona which was disrupted by the everlasting feud between the Montague and the Capulets. Romeo, a young son of the Montagues, and Juliet, a young daughter of the Capulets fall deeply in love, even though the two families are sworn enemies, the two young lovers marry in secret. However, they both commit suicide because they can’t stand being apart from each other. Throughout the play, there are many signs that Friar Laurence is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. At this moment in the play, Romeo gets word that Juliet had passed. He enters Juliet's tomb and encounters Paris. They fight, and Romeo murders Paris. Romeo then follows Juliet and commits suicide by drinking a potion. Friar Laurence rushes to the tomb, only to discover that he is too late. Juliet awakens to find Romeo dead next to her. Friar Laurence tries to hurry Juliet out of the tomb before she sees more of Romeo but flees when he hears the prince approaching.” I hear some noise.
