Adventurous and dangerous, Louie Zamperini’s life was one that many will never forget. Louie’s childhood wasn’t very great, he would get into lots of trouble from fights and running from the police. When Louie’s brother Pete heard about everything that Louie was doing, so he decided to get Louie into running track, and soon enough Louie would win every race he was in. Then at the age of 19 he qualified for the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Louie then went into the military and then he had been captured by the Japs.

The book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand demonstrates that after suffering for a long period of time, one must overcome their past sorrows to move ahead in the present. Louie enlists in the army air corps and becomes a bombardier. When Zamperini’s B-24 went down in the shark-infested Pacific Ocean, he and two crewmates (pilot Russell Allen “Phil” Phillips and Francis “Mac” McNamara) had to survive with only the supplies that had been stashed in the pockets of a pair of small life rafts. Louie and his crewmate Phil were able to survive the 47 days at sea, only then to be captured by the Japanese and eventually sent to a brutal POW camp where he was beaten, starved and overworked. Louie then survives once more despite all of the misery and torment

Within the first chapter she says says a lot of ignorant things like "took for granite" (1.3.3) and "give up the goat" (1.3.5). Leah says she's "famous for making things up out of thin air and stating them in a high, knowing tone" (1.9.6).
What world do you think Howie and Laura encountered in the book the goats. Do you think the world was dangerous and malevolent or the world was caring, supportive and worth exploring? I say the world was dangerous and malevolent. This is why,Laura and Howie are bullied from other people,Laura and Howie escaped the camp, and Laura and Howie risked their lives. Howie and Laura almost died and got lost when they escaped the camp without permission!!.
In the essay “Beyond Bullying” by Krissy Darch and Fazeela Jiwa the readers got a chance to further their understanding of the injustice many victims bullying receive in Canada. The essay starts off with focusing mainly on two victims of bullying; Amanda Todd and Rehtaeh Parsons. These two victims cases were posted on social media under the title of cyberbullying but little did everyone knows that both girls were faced with sexual harassment by younger men. The felonies that Rehtaeh and Amanda both went through was the outcome of a sexist system that states a women body does not belong to her solely. The term bullying is understood differently, across the globe.
This essay will discuss who Danielle is bullied by, how it affects her, and what can be done to stop it. First, she is tormented and mocked by her classmates, including William. "WILLIAM: What's with this stupid picture anyway?" says the text. It’s just pencil-crayon on a wall.
[...] My lip bleeds a little.”. Her former best friend Rachel or rather Rachelle mouths to Melinda “I hate you”. To bring the pain away from her mind she brings pain to her body. To forget all the things Rachel did, “IT” did. Everytime something triggers her or brings her to the past she resorts to self harm or self degradation.
When Rachel is doing terrible things (like stealing money and buying a plane ticket) for a good reason, we can truly see how hope can change our minds to do even the worst things. And by ignoring what her mom says and forgiving her immature father, Rachel shows us all how everybody deserves a second chance. So next time you have a decision to make, think about this; don’t do something just because you hope something good will come out of it and remember that forgiving is sometimes the only way to move

Not only can staff members assist the students at Madera High School, but students can also help eachother out in terms of charisma. For example, students can help eachother out by standing up for students when seen being bullied. Then maybe the students being bullied may have the ability to stand up for themselves knowing they have someone that have their back’s. In fact, when the question, “What would you do if someone came to you for help due to harassment or bullying? Please explain” majority of the students said they would give advice, be there for them, and talk to an adult or parent for help.
He would sometimes wait for me to get done with school to pick on me. He used to call me mean names when we walked passed each other as he shoved me like it was on accident, even though I knew he did it on purpose and that he intended to hurt my feeling. One day he would say he was my friend if I gave him an answer or two but the next he would act like nothing even happened the day before. He treated me like I was trash left to be feeling like I was the only person in this world that had a “Friend” like that.
