The Red Guards of Chairman Mao helped Mao to defend the revolution. The Cult of personality helped Mao take control over China. Mao wrote a book called the “The Little Red Book” where he used to create a scared image for himself and to hundreds of millions. Mao had strict guidelines for his social interaction based on his cult, Mao made people revere him by mass producing propaganda that promoted him glorious acts.
