The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F. Scott Fitzgerald was a creative, unique story about a man, who is born when his body appears to be age 75. The story describes his entire life as he ages downward until his death as a baby. Benjamin faces many struggles in his life as he tries to get married and becomes much younger than his wife, or can not get into college because he looked much older than 18. His entire life is quickly summed up within a few chapters. The theme of this story age does not define a person and their mental capabilities. Benjamin’s mind is always at a different age than his body throughout the story as he gets wiser and grows younger looking simultaneously. This applies to real life because many people are wise
