The Demise of the Chickens by Brady Kurtz After the chickens completed their crime, they flew away. However, the story does not end there. Eventually, the neighbors of the man realized they had not heard from him in a while. They decided to go check on him, and that's when they saw him and his girlfriend lying on the ground, lifeless, covered in stab wounds. They screamed in horror of what they saw, and eventually called the police and told them what had happened. The police quickly came to the house and saw the scene. They closed up the house so they could investigate. The police realized after looking around that the man had hidden cameras hidden in his house. So they used their dogs to get the scent, and they tracked down the chickens. After a few hours of following the scent, the dogs finally tracked down the chickens, sleeping in the middle of the field. They had blood all over them, confirming that they were guilty. The police handcuffed all the chickens and took them into the station. They questioned the chickens, asking where they were the night of the crime, and what they were doing. The chickens didn't talk, because they're chickens. But the Police didn't seem to care because they locked all the chickens up into separate cells and kept them there overnight until their trial. Morning came, and the chickens were nervous as they prepared for their trial. None of them had gotten any sleep, and they had no idea what would happen. When the chickens arrived at the courtroom, they met with their lawyer, John Johnson. During the trial, the family and friends of the man and woman that the chickens had killed came and testified. John kept trying to explain to the jury and the judge that these are just chickens and they don't know what they are doing, but they did not want to hear it. After a few hours, a verdict was reached. The judge hit the
