Macbeth, the brave, humble, courageous and caring protagonist, a true champion to the King with all of his feats of bravery and heroism. Deafening the rebels with little effort and the wave of a sword. All of the kingdom, his friends and the King himself honor Macbeth with titles, land and money as their lionhearted hero. This is how Macbeth is introduced a man with of fame, fortune along with a lovely wife. But then everything changes when Macbeth heard the words, “All Hail Macbeth, that shalt be King.” Macbeth and Lady Macbeth hear the prophecy and stat a journey that will rip and shred their soul with every a step with they take. We observe Macbeth make choices that in a way that fractures his soul. The first way is obvious; Macbeth begins to give into the temptation and deception of power and his wife’s wishes to kill the king. Macbeth struggles with visions of a dagger, a dagger that he later uses to kill the King. His mind begins to collapse upon the thought, his soul trembles. This is a test for the story whether he has the temerity to kill, and he does. He stabs the King in his sleep.
