The case I will be analyzing is the disappearance and murder of Caylee Anthony.
On July 15, 2008, Cythina Anthony, Caylee´s grandmother, called 9-1-1 to report Caylee missing. In that same call, she also reported a smell to the 911 operator, ¨ And it smells like there´s been a dead body in the damn car¨. Cythina then handed the phone to her daughter, Casey Anthony, Caylee´s mother. The operator asked her when the last time she had seen Caylee is, to which Casey answered she hadn´t seen her for 31 days and knew who had her. Casey Anthony told police that the babysitter Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez vanished with Caylee, on June 9 and was too scared to alert authorities.
