A dynamic character is one who undergoes a change over the course of a story. Explain why Brian would be considered a dynamic character. How does he change during this novel? In most novels, many characters develop new characteristics from the events and experiences they endure. Billy Colman grows and changes in many ways throughout the novel. This makes him dynamic. A dynamic character is one who changes from the beginning of the story to the end. Characters become dynamic by gaining character traits through the things they experience, much like Billy.
Then throughout the book he changes and makes multiple friends and learns to trust others. Samuel Collier is a dynamic character because his longing and fears change throughout the book. First, Samuel Collier is a dynamic character because his longings changed through out the book. On page 100 it says, “‘Then a thought strikes me. ‘Richard, you need armor.’”
In 1906, an earthquake hit San Francisco, California. More than 3,000 people died. The earthquake that hit San Francisco was one of the largest earthquakes in northern California. It struck the coast of Northern California. "Horrific Wreck of the City" by Fred Hewitt and “Comprehending the Calamity:” by Emma Burke are both about the same thing but the two authors opinion on how this disaster affected people are completely different.
The Antagonist is Joe. He has dominance over Janie which prevents her from being a woman. She can’t wear her hair because it’s too beautiful which causes him to become jealous. He’s possessive and this is why she could never have a life of her own.

The three reasons Elie is a dynamic character are that Elie loses his faith, Elie and his father’s relationship weakens over time, and that the way Elie views violence is changed. The first reason is that Elise begins to lose his faith. One example is during the Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur. Elie did not fast because, as he says, he is rebelling against God and he no longer knows if God exists. Also during the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, Elie didn’t gather and pray with the rest of the men.
In the end, an ax man comes and kills the wolf and takes out the grandma from his stomach. . Little Red Riding Hood is a static character because she stays the same throughout the whole story. Even though she was about to get eaten and went through a lot, she was still innocent and naive. 5. Cady Heron from the movie, “Mean Girls”, is an example of a dynamic character.
These white men are not like us and They’re dangerous to us all! We will not be broken and turned into slaves. These are the feelings that these Native American Indian Leaders thought, as they wrote from the heart. Red Jacket wrote “The Great Spirit Has Made Us All” and Tecumseh wrote “The White Men Are Not Friends to the Indians”; the two are quite similar in context but have different meanings from interpretations. These pieces have information containing historical documentation, from how the Native Americans had to go through hardships from the Europeans coming to colonize.
In the story “Eleven,” the narrator Rachel acts more like a child. In the story, the author says, “I finally say in a small voice that sounds like I’m four. ”This shows that Rachel spoke in a small childish voice rather than in a confident voice like tween would. In another part of the story the author tells us that “all of a sudden I’m crying in front of everyone.” This proves that Rachel did not control her emotions in a mature way, instead she cries like a child.
At first she was broken by the news when she received it. Receiving the news, she suddenly felt like her world had changed. A dynamic character is a character that goes through a change after a conflict or a crisis, this change happens over time. Even though her husband did not die Mrs. Mallard still went through the traumatic experience of losing a loved one.

At exactly fifteen minutes past eight in the morning, all aspects of life as known to the city’s population of two hundred and forty five thousand people were decimated within an instant; it was an instant in which the first atomic bomb was dropped from an American plane, killing nearly one hundred thousand people and injuring another one hundred thousand more. In its original edition, John Hersey’s Hiroshima traces the lives of six survivors, beginning a few minutes prior to the bombing and covering the period directly thereafter. When the bomb detonates, the Reverend Mr. Kiyoshi Tanimoto, a community leader and an American-educated Methodist pastor, throws himself between two large rocks and is hit with debris from a nearby house.

Kierrah Edwards ENGL 201 9/20/15 Character Analysis: Emily Grierson The short story “A Rose for Emily” by William Faulkner depicts how seclusion can certainly impact one’s life. Throughout the story, Emily gives off this “insane” impression. However, after fully reading the story, the reader can fully understand why Emily was the way she was. Emily Grierson was a very dependent person.
Emma is one of those girls who is very popular at school and cares about her friends and family, but doesn’t care about much else. She is a really nice sister, but she can get to be a pain sometimes. Emma is actually a decent student though, no matter what people think about the “popular group” of kids at school, Emma is part of them and still a good student. She normally gets Bs and B+s for grades, and listens and learns when necessary. Did I mention that she can be a pain?
