Element 115 was found when a meteor hit earth and group 935 found it. Element 115 was extremely unstable element. It could power the Bell; Element 115 could reanimate dead cells or bring a dead person back to life. Element 115 is the reason we have Zombies in the first place.
It is also used in the technology industry as it is a very good conductor of heat- which devices like mobile phones require to function properly .Also, it is used in dentistry to make gold fillings which are a replica of human teeth. In conclusion, gold has been improvised to suit many of its applications in the society. To make gold more durable, companies also regularly concentrate it with metals such as copper and silver- which form strong alloys of itself ( BBC, Bitesize GCSE, Science, Metals and
Its self-discharge is half of the Nickel Cadmium battery, making it even more practical. As well as this , it doesn’t not have the memory effect, making it long lasting and efficient. Lithium Ion battery In the lithium ion battery the anode is an oxide material such as LiCoO2 and the cathode is usually composed of
Its other advantages include excellent fatigue, denting and damping resistance. Therefore it is used commonly in alloys for car and airplane construction, electronics, luggage and power tools. It is also used in fireworks and sparklers, as it is easy to ignite and burns brightly. Historically, Magnesium was used in both world wars for German military aircrafts, and was a main aircraft construction metal. Photosynthesis also requires magnesium to take place.
Imagine you’re only 15 and you lost bother of your parents and now your 23 year old brother has to take care of you and the rest of the family. Molly or MDMA is cut with other drugs or substances that increase toxicity levels in the human body making it difficult to know what molly could be cut with. Molly alters brain chemistry increases euphoria experiences making the user addicted to the altered brain chemistry. The effects of taking molly is that it increases you blood pressure, alters body temperature causing hyperthermia, increases sweating, and causing the individual to drink too much water. The problem with drinking too much water, is that it flushes out your body’s electrolytes; which can cause kidney and liver failure, strokes, and heart attacks. The high usually wears off in two hours even though the drug can stay in the body for 4-6 hours making the users take more of the
I was deliberately looking for a story which would be instantly different from all the others. The story of David Manlove did surprise me a lot, in particular the effect of type of drug that he was abusing. Previously I knew that inhalants could be potentially to some extent used as drugs. However, I never really considered them as actual drugs. Thereby, I was extremely surprised to discover that one could get overdose so easily from just a single use of inhalants.
The three elements used to discover Protactinium also belong to the Rare Earth Actinides series. Although Soddy and Cranston figured out a way to stabilize it, Protactinium is one of the very few naturally-occurring Rare Earth Actinides and occurs in soil, rock, plants, and surface water. When inhaled in small amounts, Protactinium can cause cancer in the liver and kidneys, but it does not play a huge biological role. Geologically, it does not affect much, and poses no threat to the Department of Energy or to the safety of groundwater. Protactinium, however, is linked to actinium.
Cigarettes, heroin, marijuana, Xanax, Adderall, cocaine, meth, and alcohol are some the variety of drugs found in Vegas. They stimulate the body but then leave the body damaged. Drugs are not only used by adults, however. The use has shifted down towards teenagers. Despite being illegal they are popular in Las Vegas.
Lithium ion battery store and release energy by moving electrons from the negative side to the positive side of the battery. When electrons flow through an electrical circuit, they power our electronic devices. It is the same idea as watermill. The watermill uses water flow to spin a wheel that drive a mechanical process such as milling and grinding. Since the electrolyte separates the two lakes, water can only flow is through the water pipeline. The giant hippos cannot go through the water pipeline, so they have to walk past the electrolyte terrain into lake Cathode in valley.
The chemical is a silvery- white, nonmagnetic, ductile metal, that is used all throughout the universe. It’s also the third most abundant element , and the most abundant in the Earth’s crust. Aluminum was discovered in the Earth’s crust in the as early as 1787 and was called Alum, and the whole word “Aluminum” was completed by 1825. All of the Aluminum from the Earth’s crust was combined
-Sue’s mother suffered from an undiagnosed bipolar disorder, therefore, Sue needs to be assess as well with undiagnosed bipolar disorder. The Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) Bipolar Disorder Screening Scale can accurately identify both threshold and sub-threshold bipolar disorder. Another assessment tool is “Obtaining a Family History through the use of Genogram” which can contribute to the assessment of bipolar disorder by: • Aiding in screening for and identifying familial patterns of major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder • Allowing visualization of family relationships in other disease processes • Contributing to disease prevention planning Sue needs to be assess with suicide risk assessment. The Suicide Behaviors
(Columbia University Press, 2016, paragraph 3) The element can be used in steel as an alloying agent, surgical instruments, photoflash bulbs, and lamp
What kind of effect on the human body heroin has? Heroin is extremely addictive, so once someone begins using, it is not easy to give up. Through taking excessively or using for a long time, addicts will be affected both physically and mentally. If the worst comes to worst, they will die.
In the modern age of technology, the abundance of batteries cannot easily be overlooked. Batteries convert chemical energy into electrical energy and power several electronic devices such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, PDAs, and iPods to name a few. Furthermore, they provide power to households and several industrial enterprises around the world. Indeed, these batteries have become very advantageous to people because of the convenience they provide in everyday encounters. However, batteries can also be harmful despite the advantages they offer.
