In lord of the flies by william golding simon is like the jocks best friend because simon sides with ralph during conflicts. “You’re chief. You tell’em off.” says simon. (golding 51).

In the novel Golding has wrote about how a group of british boys crashed on a plane and landed on a island where there are no adults,just little british boys stranded on a island .In the beginning one of the boys Ralph was the responsible leader where he knew what to do an how to manage. But of course there was this one cureles jealous boy that wanted to be a leader,the one in charge. Because of how ruthless and savage Jack was he took the fear that the boys had within them and used it against them to make them join his tribe which started the destruction of the island.

Although historians believe that there is so much good in human nature, William Golding’s Lord of the Flies illustrates human nature to be naturally evil through Jack’s actions, Simons encounter with the lord of the flies, and the primitive nature that controls the schoolboys when they are taken out of civilization.
In William Golding’s novel, Lord of the Flies, the Freudian personalities are perfectly expressed. These personalities consist of Id, Ego, and Super-ego. Ralph , Jack, and Piggy are the characters who best fit these personalities. In which, Jack represents the id, Ralph represents the ego, and Piggy represents the super-ego.
Lord of the flies was a very interesting book it was good for the most part, for example the story was good! but the reason i say it was “good for the most part” is because of the beginning it was awful it did not explain anything how they got there what happened and they weren’t even scared and then they went swimming? Just didn't make sense at all.

When the Lord of the Flies talks about “mankind’s essential illness”, he refers to the evil that appears within humanity. Everyone, regardless of gender or age, has darkness deeply rooted into their hearts, but most people can keep their bad impulses under control. These evil vices include the greed for power, the disobedient attitude, and the desire to inflict pain. However, without order or civilization, the darkness can easily bring someone into chaos and savagery.
