Saturday October 12 at The Valley Performing Arts Center in Cal State Northridge I attended my first concert. The band performing was The Fab Faux they are a Beatles tribute band. At the concert they performed The Beatles Hollywood and Dodger Stadium Concerts. The band is made up of five members compared to The Beatles which was only four members. The five members are Will Lee, Jimmy Vivino, Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello, and Jack Petrozzelli. Will Lee founded the group he is also the bassist for the “Late Show with David Letterman”. Frank is the vocals and bass for the band. Lee is very talented he is a Grammy award winner he has done everything there is to do in the music business. He has lent his talents to over 1000 pop, jazz, and rock albums. …show more content…

Vivino has recorded and played live with Johnson, Hubert Sumlin, Levon Helm and Al Kooper. He has also worked on Broadway and in film. He arranged and orchestrated the scores for “Leader of the Pack on Broadway” and “Sister Act” and “Sister Act 2” for Disney. Rich Pagano plays the drums and does vocals for the band. He has produced, recorded and played drums on tour with different artist including Patti Smith, Rosanne Cash, Robbie Robertson, Ray Davies, Willie Nile, gospel icon Marie Knight, Joan Osborne, Levon Helm, and Mott The Hoople legend Ian Hunter. Frank Agnello has also played with a number of different artists such as Marshall Crenshaw, Badfinger's Joey Molland, Phoebe Snow, Al Kooper, Mike Viola, Jill Sobule, Jackie DeShannon, Willie Nile, Richard Lloyd and Ivan Julian. He has also written, recorded and produced an album made up of 12 songs that he hopes to complete in the upcoming months. The song was released on the single “There’s A Place”. This song was not written by The Beatles they covered the song, it was written by Phil Medley and Bert Berns. This song is an example of their early period. “Twist and Shout” was the last song recorded on the “Please Please Me” album. John had a really bad cold while recording the song and he was drinking milk and sucking on cough drops to “help soothe” his throat. John did an amazing first take even with his cough. The Beatles and The Fab Faux perform this song with the same energy the audience was dancing and singing at The Fab Faux concert which made it feel more like a Beatles concert. The only difference would be that The Beatles perform this song much fast than The Fab
