307 Words2 Pages
In William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, The Friar is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet because he keeps secrets and was bad at planning. Friar is one of the primary people to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Even though lots of people would think that it's Romeo and Juliet's fault because they did it to themselves, if it wasn't for Friar marrying them and giving Juliet the potion, things could have gone differently. Friar secretly married them knowing something could go wrong but did it thinking it could end the feud between Romeo and Juliet's family.
