Summary
The gender wage gap is when male and female income differentiate. Should men get paid more than women? Well that can be a debatable topic in which may not have an answer to. Many factors are involved when dealing with this topic. For instance as the number of kids increases women work less and men work more. In 1980 only half of the women joined the workforce compared to 80 percent of males, they earned 55 cents for every dollar a man makes. The wage gap is most common in African- American and Latina women. Receiving between 56 and 64 cents for every dollar man makes. No matter how you look at it. from the work people do, qualifications i.e. education, experience. There is enough evidence showing that discrimination plays a huge role in unequal pay.
