The Ghost Of Christmas Yet To Come Analysis

338 Words2 Pages
The most important ghost is the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come because he really makes Scrooge beg for mercy and realise his actions had consequences in the end and how they affected others. The ghost of Christmas Yet To Come shows Scrooge how his life will end up if he doesn’t change his ways. The ghost shows him Scrooges own death and Tiny Tims’ too. Scrooge's name starts an argument in the Cratchit's house and has the feeling as though saying his last name is a burden.
When the Ghost comes, Scrooge wants to change his actions after seeing what he saw. “Spirit!” he cried, tight clutching at its robe. “Hear me. I am not the man I was. I will not be the man that I must have been but for this intercourse. Why show me this if I am past all hope?”
