Is a controlling, community or a friendly neighborhood the ideal place for your family? Today this focus group is going to tell about why option number two is the perfect place for you. In The Giver society they have control over everything that you do whether it is eating or what you say. First, it has freedom of words and freedom of actions. Second people can eat whatever and whenever they want. Lastly, anyone can apply for any job they want. Are you ready to take a journey into reality? Buckle your seat belts and get ready because here we go. To kick things off, you could say or do anything you wanted without the risk of death. Well you might have a small risk if it's really bad but if you follow the laws, we shouldn't have a problem with the police now should we. That's all I am going to say. No, I am just kidding. But in The Giver, chapter 7, it says, " Today we honor your differences, they have determined your future." They use your skills but they don't let you choose your own job. If you don't like it, then you either have to run away or apply for release, which is a completely different topic. As I was saying, you can choose whatever job you want to do. It's better to like your job then to make lots of money. If you don't like your job, you might be stuck doing it for the rest of your life and then you are unhappy forever. With your job, you want to choose it so you do what you want to do and not necessarily what you're good at. If you fail, try again. Think of being in an event at the Olympics and you're going for the gold. You won't get to the gold by having other people make decisions for you. You have to do what's best for you. Do you think Michael Phelps got where he did by only listening to what others said and not what he thought was better for himself? I for one,
