We chose to write about Meyer Wolfsheim. It starts with Nick and Wolfsheim talking at a speakeasy. Meyer explains his youth and what he grew up doing. Later finds his gambling life. His adulthood he creates a business. He explains how he met Gatsby and started working together. The first scene starts with Nick and Wolfsheim at a table in a speakeasy. Wolfsheim starts a flash-back starting at a young child. He tells Nick about his mother dying and his father moving to america. His father goes to america to achieve the american dream. The father works a lot so wolfsheim truly known as Arnold Rothstien gets a job. Arnold at age 14 gets a job. He goes to school and after goes to work at a barbershop. Without knowing there is a speakeasy hiding behind a false panel wall. He sees the false panel and goes bumping into the real Meyer Wolfsheim, knocking his drinks in his hands over. Arnold took over the secret location, becoming the thug of the spot and taking over gambling in nearby areas. Meyer started to lose at his new gambling spots, so he came back to his gamble home. As soon as Arnold heard he was back, Arnold quickly confronted his old teacher. 17 year old Arnold beat up Meyer for leaving him on his own, almost killing him. There was two teeth on the floor from Meyer, he took them and made them into tie pins. After beating up Meyer Wolfsheim, Arnold took his name for his own as some kind of title. Young Arnold had to get out of New York for a while, fleeing to Chicago to run a Nazi clothing business. New Wolfsheim went back to New York to get more material and before leaving he stopped at a bar. At this bar he saw Gats in he’s smelling uniform from his war days and gave him another chance at life. Nick looks at wolfshiem with surprise and he just pokes his hat down and say “Don’t Tell
