The Guilt Play It was the day of the auditions for the play" The Hero of the Town." Everyone was nervous for the auditions but Jacob Spence. Jacob wasn't in a flutter like everyone else, but he was feeling guilty of something terrible that he had done. It was so terrible that he can never take it back. A few days before the auditions Jacob was hanging out with his best friend, Henery Cast. They were talking about how nervous they were for the auditions in a few days. They found out that they were auditioning for the male lead role in the play, Spencer Lee. Right of the back Jacob started to panic. His mind started jumping to many conclusions on what to do. He was now more observant on what the people around him are doing. There was no one attempting to hurt him. He had no clue of anyone who wanted him dead or why they even wanted that. Jacob has never believed in ghosts, nor has it came to his mind that this could be Henery. That's why Henery has no worry in his haunting revenge,neither was he going to back down. Nobody can see him which makes everything easy for him. One day Henery nearly killed Jacob. He dropped all of the heavy sand bags around Jacob which made him trapped. His next move was throwing a knife inches away from Jacobs head. Everyone in the play had witnessed the attempt of murder, which got everyone running around like a headless chicken. Finally when the director got everyone settled down she started to ask Jacob some questions. Even though she wanted answers she wasn't going to get any. Jacob was too busy trying to figure out who could have done it. He remembered that everyone who was in the play was acting their part and all of the stage crew was on a fifteen minute break. That's when he remembered there would only be one person after him, but he was dead. Jacob started to question himself if ghosts are actually real. Every time he questions himself it seems more and more true. That makes Jacob even more scared than he was in the first rehearsal. He had has finally agreed with himself that his dead best friend is haunting him. He knew the director
