The Heroic Impact Of Martin Luther King Jr. On January 15th, 1929, the most heroic figure in history was born. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in a tidy Victorian home with his mother and father, along with his grandparents and his two siblings, in Atlanta, Georgia.
