In the second book, Catching Fire, Katniss and Peeta have to travel the districts on the Victory tour to greet the families of the lost tributes. For them, it’s just another thing to remind them of the horror and tragedy of the games.

The main themes that stuck out from the text are how controlling governments put boundaries on our ability, to accomplish great things and the extent to which people go to live under this style of leadership. The Capitool has Peeta and they are brainwashing him. During that time Katniss has become the symbol of the revolution against the Capitool.
