Globalization is the connection of everyone and everything throughout the globe. It effects us internationally, locally physically and emotionally. Firstly the idea of World Polity Theory being a state that humans all innately have seems unfathomable. Not all cultures homogenize their way of life to become one entity. Although the very developed Asian country I live in is a developed nation, it's culture remains strong and in many instances overlaps American culture. Native American culture as well stands strong despite being surrounded and crushed by Western globalization.

World Culture Theory has more weight in that it allows different cultures to co-exist in a globalized world. However I don't feel that this is what historically pushed humanity into globalization. Humanity may currently be in this state right now though. It is sharing and is experiencing cultural differences such as art and music across platforms like the internet and other media every day.
