What are the factors that we humans consider before we perform an action or makes us decide our decisions? Well if you stop and think about it the answer will reveal itself. If you think what motivates yourself are things like love or fate you are unfortunately wrong. The real reason behind every action you do is for your own self benefit, it may seem greedy but it is in fact greed.We go to school so we can obtain knowledge that will help us in life, we go to work not because we enjoy it but because it gives us money, we even only act nice towards others because we are hoping for something in return. Now adways we still consider how advantages doing something will be but the weight differs from early times in the world. The story of Macbeth started out with Macbeth being a noble and righteous man but in the end he became a ruthless tyrant hated by all. Macbeth knew that if he didn't change his ways he would of never been king so he weighted being king, ruler of scotland or just a nobel that would had to quietly obey the king. Macbeth knew the consequences and even so being king to him seemed much better than a measly nobel. Even when Macbeth was told by 3 witches that he was going to indeed become him he was stuck with two choices either one wait it out however long it may be and become him or assassinate the current king, Duncan and seize his throne and become king in that instance. Macbeth had thought it through and then said “Now I’m decided and I will exert every muscle in my body to commit this crime”(Pg 47). Macbeth had weight out the benefits vs the conquesnes and it was as clear as day to Macbeth that killing Duncan now is what’s best for
