Classroom Rules Every teachers wants to keep her students safe and teach them what is and is not an appropriate behaviors in class. Classroom rules are set to teach student a proper and safe way to act within the classroom and thus, improving the student learning. Every minute in school is important. If the students have no rules to follow, everything will be in a chaotic situation. This could possibly lead to student hurting each other physically and, or mentally. Along with that, student will not learn how to act properly in society when they grow up. Another important thing is that the student’s disruptive behaviors will hinder another student’s learning opportunities. For my first grade classroom rules, I want the students to follow my four rules for a safe and effective classroom environment:
1. Listen when someone is talking.
2. Raise your hand to speak, or to get up out of the chair.
3. Follow the directions when first giving.
4. Be respectful to each other.

Classroom Rules Justifications It is important that the student follow these rules, the reasons for that is because it will create an effective classroom as the student spent their time in school. Rule number one, “Listen when someone is talking”. This rule teach the student to be respectful towards everyone in the classroom by not talking over them. This is a skill student have to learn when they gets older. We have to be respectful towards the speaker. This give the speaker the message that the listener
