Recommended: Importance of conscience in life

Conscience is the most powerful motivator of my life. Although money, fame, or reputation is important, conscience still play most important role in human beings. According to Govier, Conscience is an inward sense that guide people to the right direction and do the right thing, it will have the feeling of guilt if go to the wrong direction (Govier 2004). Conscience motivate me to be mindfulness. Mindfulness is the first thought, of course, not all first thought was right, it must be positive, conscience and compassion. When I was about 5 years old, my father chopped the pig with his friend downstairs, when I going to downstairs, my mother prevented me to get down, and said that I cannot view the process, because I cried and got a nightmare …show more content…

An obligation of sale promoter has to hardworking to push sale and give product sample. But my mind always said there is no customer, so go sneaking around and chatting with other promoter. For the product sample, my mind also will appear greed of keep some for own use. Conscience will come immediately and told me that I have to be responsible for my job and honest to the company by not gossip during working hour and take sampling for own use. During internship, I always wondering whether want to play phone during supervisor meeting. Conscience always appear motivate me to be good ethical in working include following company rules, being honest and respecting employees. When there is any mistakes, I will blame other for not teaching well, conscience help me to accept an error and correcting it. In maintain working relationship with colleagues or friends, conscience will motivate me of not treat colleagues as the enemy by make a little report to supervisor, as I will lose colleague, friends, and even despised by others. The honesty and trustworthy is the symbol of building good relationship with friend. An honest person can obtain everybody 's respect and friendship, if seeks little profit, but broke a promise of the friend, in the surface obtained "actual benefit", has possibly destroyed own
