In our current society, social diversity has become more evident. This is due to external factors like new communication technologies, easier long-distance travel, labor migrations, refugees, new transnational religious and aesthetic movements, etc. Internal factors can affect social diversity as well like the emergence of new identities, the formal and informal rights attributed to minorities and the people.
