After playing only eight seasons in Tulane Stadium, on September 28, 1975 the Saints lost 21-0 to the Cincinnati Bengals for their first regular season NFL game in the Louisiana Superdome. In 1980 the Saints finished the season with franchise worst record of 1-15. Fans showed up at the Superdome wearing paper bags over their heads and
Way back then when football was first created it was mainly white men who played. It was after WWII when all of that had changed. The compromise of racial segregation was ended by Kenny Washington in the NFL, he was the inspiration for other black men to play football in the NFL, and Now the NFL is Mostly Black athletes who work hard and love to play the sport. WWII had just ended and people like Jackie Robinson were just coming home from the second great World War. The Jim Crow laws had just been implied for blacks.
The New Orleans Saints bounty scandal was an incident in which affiliates of the New Orleans Saints franchise were suspected of paying out "bounties", for injuring the opposite team. The pool of athletes was suspected to have been in progress from 2009 to 2011. During the offseason in 2010, an unidentified player told NFL execs that the Saints had targeted two players as part of a bounty program. Knockouts were worth $1,500, and cart-offs netted $1,000. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who left the Saints for the Saint Louis Rams in the off-season, coached all four teams (Byrne, 2012).

Their were going against the Baltimore Colts, after they finished the second NFL Eastern Division behind the Cleveland Browns. The game was not a pretty sight to see, losing 35-3, but it turned out to be the beginning of what turned out to be a common occurrence for the Cowboys going to the NFL playoffs. That following year Dallas began their season whipping their first four opponents. Out of those four games they averaged a 45 points a game. After that the league knew they were to reckoned with.
Robinson would go on to attend UCLA, where he was the first athlete to receive a varsity letter for four sports. An article describing his accomplishments states this by saying, “In 1941, Jackie Robinson became the first athlete in the history of UCLA to letter in four sports (Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Track) in the same year” (“Hall of Famers”). Jackie was one of four black players on UCLA’s football team in 1939, which was abnormal, considering this was a time when very few black athletes played college football. Robinson won the 1940 NCAA Championship in the long jump. Surprisingly, baseball was the worst sport for him during his tenure at UCLA, hitting only .097 in his only season.
Florida Gulf Coast University is not only home to about 13,717 undergraduate college students but is also inhabited by wildlife. FGCU is approximately 740 acres and half of those acres are inhabited by wildlife like gators (FGCU the College Board). Alligators can be found in almost all bodies of water here on campus. Alligators, if you give them characteristic traits, would be actually considered shy creatures in a way. You know the old saying “they are more afraid of you then you are of them” perfectly describes gators.
As the Super Bowl festivities continue to grow, slowly but surely many of San Francisco’s homeless people are being kicked out of their spots and are being gathered into shelters. In the article published by Alison Vekshin, “San Francisco nudges homeless away from Super Bowl fan village,” she expresses how the media does not want San Francisco to be viewed with poverty so they are kicking out the poor people to make room for activities and media signs that are associated with the Super Bowl. People are focusing too much on what makes them look good, but in reality when people hear about these unbelievable stories they think of them in a wrong way and it makes them look unpropitious. It is very obvious that people only want to see a

This is the moment I realized… they may take this game a bit too far.
If American Football is an art, then its athletes paint with blood. This should surprise no one; the gridiron plays host to modernity’s most violent sport. In this unforgiving environment, it is all to common for former stars to flare out with career-ending injuries. As I kicked off my research on the National Football League (NFL), I intended to report on these injuries. With a premise on my mind and a paper in my sights, I headed to JumboSearch to begin my investigation.

A- SPORT AS A UNIFIER 1. I believe that sporting events have the power to unify a nation in numerous ways. Although every individual is unique and special, when we come together to support a national team participating in an event, we forget that we are different and we become one nation with an idealistic dream. A dream of uniting for the benefit of our country.
