The Chicago Bears need to improve in these positions: quarterback, wide receiver, offensive tackle, cornerback, safety, and defensive end. The Chicago Bears have a couple positions to improve on, however, they will make the NFL Playoffs next season. They have over $71 million of cap space including the release of Jay Cutler, there are many quality players in Free Agency and the NFL Draft to feel in for position needs, and Ryan Pace has a good football I.Q. to make great signing and good trades. Breaking ground for the Marine Center with Louisiana Senate President Sammy Nunez Photo courtesy of the the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium But Treen also pursued more conventional elements of conservatism. He signed into law a bill mandating the teaching of “creationism science” (it was subsequently overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court), reformed the code of Criminal Procedure, and got passed a workman's compensation package, though not one as ambitious as he had hoped. He also instituted major tax cut legislation which seemed to little impede either the state’s economy or Treen’s popularity until the oil bust occurred.
According to the report on NFL.com, "It is more probable than not that Jim McNally (the Officials Locker Room attendant for the Patriots) and John Jastremski (an equipment assistant for the Patriots) participated in a deliberate effort to release air from Patriots game balls after the balls were examined by the referee. " The report also stated, “It is more probable than not that Tom Brady was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities of McNally and Jastremski involving the release of air from Patriots game balls. " This investigation conducted by Ted Wells clearly lacked thorough evidence since Wells made vague claims throughout his report. These terms included “more probable than not” and “generally aware” when he made accusations. Although he is a well-respected and qualified lawyer, he accused Jim McNally, John Jastremski, and Tom Brady of wrongdoing based on a possibility of them being involved in deflating footballs without strong and clear evidence.

In the true story based movie and the documentary, the dangers of head injuries in football are laid out for the viewer. Dr. Bennet Omalu discovered the brain injury chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE; however, the NFL was in denial about the effects football had on the brain and had on causing CTE. I believe that the NFL’s denial to the accusations were detrimental to many football players and that serious consideration should be taken into the way football is played overall. When Dr. Omalu originally diagnosed CTE on Mike Webster and the NFL denied that football was the cause for his death and disease.

With three failed attempts by owners to bring a professional football team to Detroit, Richards knew starting a franchise in the middle of the Great Depression would be difficult. Despite a hot 10-0 start, it was a baseball town, home to the Detroit Tigers, with little support for football. Richards knew he needed something unique to football. He and his team participated in the league’s first Thanksgiving game.
The Titans, a football team who had to face the adversity of having black and white people on the same football team together. The Titans had to persevere, but not only just persevere by themselves, they had to persevere as a team and as a unit, the Titans not only had to change how they think about other races, they had to befriend the other races and change their way of thinking. In order to become a unit they had to settle their differences and focus on what 's on the inside instead of the color of their skin. Persevering is a need in human quality, if people didn’t persevere, many inventions wouldn’t have been possible today. If perseverance wasn 't a thing everyone would just eventually give up and forget about what their goal or objective was.

If American Football is an art, then its athletes paint with blood. This should surprise no one; the gridiron plays host to modernity’s most violent sport.
