The way of the world is to have your hand in everyone else’s cookie jar. This means the way of imperialism, the use of a country’s influence over another either with diplomacy or military might, this is how all big countries operate by “helping” other countries they can keep a hand in the government to allow them to sway the country anyway they wish. Now that imperialism doesn’t mean that its only countries but weaker people like the natives of America between the 1600s to the 1800s where everyone from Europe, Spain, and other countries that explored Americas . Vlad the Impaler , the inspiration behind Dracula , was prince of Wallachia who was a cannibal, sadistic warmonger . He got his nickname impaler from his favorite way to execute anyone he thought was trying to betray him. Impaling is when a 12 foot pike is shoved up the victims anus and its set up so that they slowly slide down and die of blood loss, which could take a while. He had a forest of impaled bodies around his castle and rumors say there was a torture dungeon under his bedroom so that when he was going to sleep he could hear the screams of people. He ruled with a iron fist and he was always trying new ways to make the ottoman empire feel his wraith . He was eventually murdered because eventually fear comes back a bites you as a famous poet said. Many people say because imperialism is almost always ending in back lash and war that countries should be left alone from each other. So that they may operate individually of one another . This would mean absolving NATO , because by the very idea NATO uses its influence to sway countries to go the way that NATO believes is good not what is right . Imperialism is not a bad thing but it is used to often as a tool of control and not as a tool of aid . America has come along way from the dealing with the natives to helping and aiding countries like Iraq . So maybe if this trend continues that more countries while adopt the aiding side of imperialism over the controlling side of imperialism . Because only through the aid and help of mankind can we as a race can go
