The McCune vs Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range case contains much of accurate interpretations of the law when pertaining to contracts of adhesion. In this case, a defected mask allowed a paintball to hit Christine McCune’s eye. The effect of this event led McCune to become blind in one eye. There is no evidence suggesting that the employees knew of this malfunction. This case best describes the contracts of adhesion because there was not any gross negligence from the park.

After listening to a few of the oral history interviews and viewing photos from the events that occurred during the 1970 Kent State Shootings, I can’t begin to imagine the true effects of such an occurrence. During the past two decades, I’ve distantly witnessed, via multi-media, numerous acts of massacres on school campuses alone (elementary, high school and college) that resulted in lost lives and immense trauma for all involved. A colleague of mine, Jane Grote describes it well as she was literally in the middle of it all.
In the wake of the shooting at Kent State University on May 4, 1970, some students

The outrage was not just that Officer Van Dyke shot McDonald 16 times as the teen was calmly walking down the street, but that the police department and city officials tried to cover the incident up. There was a police car dash cam that caught the whole incident on film, but the recording was hidden away for over a year. The nearby Burger King had its footage erased by fellow officers.

Gun Control: Firearms Illegal in Texas Elementary Schools Today in America, the government is slowly providing laws and policies that reflect a safe society for its citizens to live comfortably. On the other hand, the laws in specific states, are less-limiting by not restricting specific criminal acts. In some states, like the state of Texas, students in elementary educational level can go to school as well as the teachers, and parents can know that they will be safe. In extreme situations, like a shooting, the state of Texas would need to improve the laws on gun control because it is the most effective way to stay safe in elementary schools.
The aforementioned article describes the debate occurring regarding the Texas massacre and the gun violence associated with it. 26 people were killed in the shooting, however the perpetrator himself soon became one of the many victims of a fatal gunshot wound and soon killed himself after being chased down. President Donald Trump claimed that the act was the work of a disabled man and that if Devin Patrick Kelley, the perpetrator, had not been shot, there would have been many more casualties. Meanwhile, those who oppose the second amendment persist in using this situation to dispute gun rights,
