The identified selected funding agency that has been identified is the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation (http://hjweinbergfoundation.org/program-areas/older-adults/) (http://hjweinbergfoundation.org/grants/). I modified the grant as a result of search because this foundation provides money for seniors and veterans. This grant proposal will be written to support two identified vulnerable populations the Foundation has determined as underserved. This will make this grant stand out to the funders and evidence its uniqueness by demonstrating the goals and objectives outlined by the Foundation, inclusive of two underserved populations.
Case management is a critically important modality in the provision of effective services for individuals who are experiencing difficulty. It is an approach to organising interventions that address the needs and circumstances that significantly impede the life chances of an individual through a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy for options and services. There are various forms of case management models and a range of theoretical lenses through which to view human development. However, these models can vary in accordance with the sector in which the dominant or priority issue is located, such as the health sector or the learning and development field. The variation within each of these areas implies that there is much discussion in the literature about the models that are most appropriate and effective for particular client groups, however, for this essay the Brokerage Model and Strengths-Based Model will be the compared models of case management.

A support plan is usually completed with a child as this helps to identify their needs, the plan can then be tailored specifically for them and adapted if necessary, this is then reviewed at intervals to monitor the progress made. We currently have a placement plan at our home that we use with the young mothers. This helps to identify their support needs and what areas they feel they may need extra support with.

Food Inc. Food is a necessity for life; all organisms must produce or consume food to survive. Humans have been finding various ways of gathering the food that they need, some of these methods even resulting in environmental damage. Ishmael, the main character in Daniel Quinn’s Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit, would view the way humans gather and distribute their food today as unnatural and as another “Taker” method. Mass production is one way that humans make sure that they have a surplus of food.

Analysis of the data drew together the data and comparisons were made of similar themes and were examined as to how they related to the variables within the participant groups (Scannapieco et al., 2007, pg 427).” The three major themes that emerged as a result of this study are youth focused practice, collaboration and better communication and unmet needs and permanent connections. In the first theme, youth focused practice; foster youth participating in the focus groups stated that they wanted to be more involved in the decision making of their lives. Youth felt that their case plans were developed by the case workers with no input prior to the case workers meeting the youth. Therefore youth felt that their case plan was not individualized.
New York Times writer Michael Thompson wrote in his article “Kids Need to Be Away from Home”, “..., camp is about character, community, and prolonged period of independence” and it is true that sleepaway camps give kids a time develop a sense of independence which is vital in life. When looking at reviews on interventions used with children with asd it appears not all are effective there are features of some that are more effective than others. There has been a great level of importance placed on the key features that promote the effectiveness and that start the intervention process as early as possible that most children benefit from over 15 hours per week of intervention, the more the better.
