The Industrial Revolution drastically changed world history. The Industrial Revolution is an era that began in Great Britain in 1760 but officially started in the late 18th century 1850. The revolution began because of the textile industry. The demand for cloth grew, This raised a problem for the consumer because the products were at a higher cost. The solution was to use machinery, which was cheaper than products made by hand. One of the major inventions that were crafted during the revolution was the Steam Engine, it was created by Thomas Newcomen in 1712 but later in the I.R James Watt improves the steam engine in 1769 making it one of the most important inventions during Industrial Revolution since it powered things from trains to textile
