Costa Rica is a country in Central America. It is bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southwest, the Pacific Ocean to the West, the Caribbean Sea to the East, and Ecuador to the South of Cocos Island. It contains more than 800 miles of coastline. Their population consists of over 4.5 million people. Inhabited by indigenous people ( having a set of specific rights based on their historical ties to a particular territory, and their cultural or historical distinctiveness from other populations that are often politically dominant) before coming under Spanish control in the 16th century. Costa Rica is considered one of the most stable, prosperous, and progressive nations in Latin America.

They most common feature is that the homes don’t contain TVs. In Costa Rica, cable and wifi are very expensive. Most people can’t afford it so instead they do without it. Another feature is that the “typical” Costa Rican house may not contain any air conditioning. Air conditioning is also another expensive thing. The rooms don’t contain much furniture. There’s as much as a sofa, stereo, and arm chair. The living rooms are not always used. The kitchen contains one sink and also have a small refrigerator and stove. Unfortunately, there are no dishwashers. All the dishes are washed by hand in the sink. Sometimes in bathrooms they have things that can and cannot be flushed. The sewer system in Costa Rica have trouble taking toilet paper so some homes and places have a separate waste bin just for toilet paper. The bedrooms are incredibly small and the beds are highly uncomfortable. In the mostly all the bedrooms there is a television. Everything on the television is in Spanish. The closest you’ll get to English television are subtitles. Most of the support for the bed comes from wooden slats that support the mattress as part of the bed
