The Influences Of The Nike Advertising Campaigns
Has the Nike advertising campaign affected the buying habits of the Sagewood male soccer players?
Proposal
I’ve chosen this question for my research task as it possess two of my interests: Soccer and Nike. I am a fan of soccer and the label Nike (especially when it comes to sportswear). With this question I am enabled to find out if the male soccer players at Sagewood High School are influenced by the Nike advertisements when they purchase a product of that label. What is it that makes the male soccer players at Sagewood High School purchase that Nike shoe? Is it the advertising campaign and how the shoe is depicted? Is it the design and the make of the shoe? Or are they simply just brand loyal customers?
Nike obviously has a motive behind every single advertisement. With each advertisementthey’re trying to send a specific message across to their customers. They are trying to persuade the consumers into buying that particular product over another brands product. Have they accomplished that with the male soccer players at Sagewood High School? Do the adverts still have the same impact they did years ago? Or are they purchasing the product because of its status?
With this research task I’m trying to ascertain how effective and influential the Nike’s advertising campaign is amongst Sagewood’s male soccer players. Are the features of the product drawing their attention? Or is the name of the brand drawing their attention towards
