Nervous System
One of the organ systems is the nervous system, it is made up of nerve cells and fibres and its role is to send nerve impulses through the body. There are two main parts to the nervous system which are: the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system includes the brain and spinal cord and some nerves, whereas the peripheral nervous system includes all the other nerves and consists of motor and sensory neurons that carry impulses from the receptors to the CNS, as well as impulses from the CNS to the effectors. The central nervous system acts as the central control region for the human nervous system. The CNS is responsible for processing information and it sends commands throughout the

The main glands in the endocrine system are the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals, pineal body, and there are also reproductive organs included in this system which are the ovaries and testes. The pancreas is included in this system aswell as others, this is because it has a vital responsibility in hormone production. The glands in the endocrine system secrete and produce hormones and these can regulate the activity of cells and organs in the body.
Digestive System
The role of the digestive system is to break food down so that it can be used as energy for the body. The main organs in the digestive system are the large and small intestine, liver, stomach and the pancreas. The role of the pancreas is to create digestive liquids which aid digestion. The role of the liver is to produce bile. Whereas, the stomach is responsible for the actual digestion of the food. The small intestine is to absorb and digest soluble food, on the other hand, the large intestine absorbs any left over water and aids the production of
