As a Christian, I can learn a lot from the characters in C. S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. One of the characters that stood out the most to me was Mr. Tumnus. Mr. Tumnus is a faun (half human, half goat) who was tasked by the Evil Witch to capture the Daughter of Eve, Lucy and take her to the Witch. This was a very emotional time when he encountered Lucy, as when he met her, he was astonished by how amazing she was. As a result, he cried and was unsure if he should sacrifice himself to let her go or save himself. He is also very compassionate. In the end, he let Lucy go despite him knowing he would be tortured. We can truly learn a lot from Mr. Tumnus. Mr. Tumnus can be used as a good example to show how we should react to
