Logan Bokor Mr. Malgieri Forensics 7 February 2017 The Man Known As The Joker Heath Ledger was born on April 4th, 1979 in Perth, Australia. Most famously known as the Joker in The Dark Knight, he became successful with starring in 19 films. Ledger also aspired to be a film director, with producing and directing music videos on the side. He was found dead on January 22nd, 2008, at only 28 years of age. According to the toxicology report that was released after the autopsy, Ledger passed away from acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine. He was found naked and unconscious on the floor of his Manhattan apartment by his masseuse at 3:31 PM. There were pills scattered everywhere, varying from prescription to nonprescription. Authorities didn’t know whether it was an accident or a suicide. Later on, it was found that it was accidental. A housekeeper, Teresa Solomon came by at 1 PM to do some chores and saw Heath snoring with the sheets pulled up to his shoulders. Later that afternoon, Ledger’s masseuse Diana Wolozin entered and found his body dead, then calling Mary-Kate Olsen. She did that instead of calling 911 because otherwise the media would be everywhere.
