The National Future Farmers of America Organization is something I can honestly say has impacted my life immensely. I have developed many skills such as a strong work ethic, impressive time management abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to accept and learn from criticism, which will mold me into the best I can be as an individual. In a world so troubled and disjointed, these characteristics are exceptionally important and are becoming scarce. This is why Agricultural Education should be taught in High Schools across America. Where there are many differences among our Nation, these qualities still hold a valuable position for all configurations of circumstances. While it is important to have a successful career path in the future, FFA also has the capabilities to provide students with a sense of where they belong. Ag ed helps people to grow in many ways, but mostly focuses on leadership like ways. Without FFA and agriculture classes many kids wouldn’t realize the importance their actions and words have on others, which helps these kids to be more respectful to others. FFA and ag classes help people to grow mentally, which helps them to be tougher, therefore these kids are mentally stronger and can handle harder subjects and topics others can’t. Being involved in these helps these teenagers to be more proactive in what they do, resulting in communities being treated respectfully. They also help children to have a huge growth and improvement in responsibility.
