This is known as Phantom Vibration Syndrome. For those who are in necessity of time social media might not be the best route as it has proven to be a big time waster. I argue that social media should be regulated because of the time wasted, the benefits that come from letting it go, and the addictions that can be caused from such technologies. First, I argue that the amount of time spent on social media should be regulated. It is an obvious threat to us all. Many people know the amount of time these can consume but instead continue to scroll on. There are many different social gaming apps that force the user to wait for a certain time period before being allowed to play again. Take FIFA Mobile for example. This game uses energy that is charged over time. Without a certain amount energy the game can not be played and the user if forced to wait.These same techniques could be used to potentially benefit social media users.
